Monstera Roots was built specifically to meet the needs that the healthcare system has historically failed to address. Black women are over-represented in every negative maternal health statistic — not because of biology, but because of systemic racism, implicit bias, and a lack of culturally competent care.
Our services are designed to fill those gaps: continuous emotional support, informed advocacy during labor, postpartum recovery rooted in ancestral healing, and a community that sees and honors you.
